History

BITwave is a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) company established on 17th January 1997. Started by S.K. Hui who has over 30 years of industry experience, and has contributed to various technical publications and patent filings, BITwave began by developing engineering communication technology platforms for military and industrial applications. BITwave’s technology has provided crucial communications solutions, in the most extreme noise environments, for over 14 years.

BITwave holds 8 patents in the fields of audio and digital signal processing technology. BITwave’s technology has been licensed to and is used by major corporations. BITwave is also involved in developing advance technology for the Army, the Future System Directorate, DARPA and Homeland Security . BITwave has now applied its military and industrial grade, patented audio technology on its UCLEAR consumer products line.

BITwave specializes in the design and development of DSP hardware and digital signal processing algorithms for real-time speech, audio and image/video processing. These products will address the need for mobility and SOHO, and add value and productivity to the users.
